The Montessori curriculum strives to create a connection between home and school environment. In an effort to make this connection, we celebrated International Heritage Day in our school on Wednesday, December 23, 2015.
This November, we celebrated Thanksgiving in our school by having a Thanksgiving feast. We would like to share with you all the preparations that took place before the feast.
To welcome the fall season, Little Gems Montessori organized their second Fall Festival! Children dressed up in their Halloween costumes and teachers decorated their cars with spooky stuff. Games, parade, trick or treat, and goodie bags were fun for children, teachers, family and friends!
Our first visit to VonThun farms, what a fun! Hayride around our 90-acre working farm was informative and bumpy..we all enjoyed it! We stopped along the way and were given a series of educational talks about the farm and crops that were growing in the fields. We met the friendly farm animals and learned about each of them.
Little Gems Montessori Academy had held its first year end school picnic on June 26, 2015. The picnic was fun, and a great way for the families and teachers to interact with each other.
